Merry Christmas everyone, (and a Happy Kwanzaa, Festivus, post-Hanukkah, and any other celebration(s) with family which I may have overlooked!)
A lot of amazing things have happened for the Vanderlist family this year, but regardless of how it’s impacted our day-to-day lives, Christmas is the time of the year we slow down and enjoy being with one another.
Christmas is also the time of year for traditional family events. The most common one for us, like so many of you, is picking out our tree.
Most of the time it goes well, but when it doesn’t, we’re at least thankful for other traditions!
But at the end of the day, when all the wrapping paper has been thrown away, and we’re in food comas or simply fighting for space on the couch to relax, the only thing that matters is that we’re together!
Thank you for being a part of my extended family, and I wish all of you the happiest of holidays and look forward to all the changes and excitement the new year will bring.
